What are Recessed Washers?

Countersunk Washers are conical in construction, with a chamfered edge on both the inside and outside diameter of the Washer. Countersunk Washers are use for aesthetic reasons, and also to preload screws and convert Countersunk Screws for use with flat surfaces. Countersunk Washers are available with a solid construction, and also as a stamped, lightweight Finishing Washer.
