What are Plastite 45 Pozi Flanged Button Head Screws?
Plastite 45 Pozi Flanged Button Head Screws (also known as Plastite 45's) are designed to tap threads into pre-drilled holes in plastic housings. These components feature a trilobular 45 degree thread angle, which is sharper than a standard Self-Tapping Screw. A sharper thread reduces the radial force exerted during installation - for an even sharper thread, Plastite 30 Pozi Flanged Button Screws may be preferable.
The Pozi Drive of these components makes them fully compatible with Accu's range of Pozi Drive Bits and Pozi Screwdrivers.
Materials
Plastite 45 Pozi Flanged Button Head Screws are manufactured from 18-8 / 304 Stainless Steel as standard. Chemical Matte Blackening is available.
