Ohm’s Law - Calculating Voltage, Current and Resistance

Ohm's Law

In electrical theory, Ohm’s Law is the mathematical formula for calculating the relationship between electrical voltage, current, and resistance. If a component or circuit has unaccounted electrical values, Ohm’s Law can be used to calculate these figures.

Ohm’s Law can be presented and applied in the following formula structures:

Voltage = Current X Resistance
Current = Voltage / Resistance
Resistance = Voltage / Current
