If using Accu's Lead Screws manufactured from C15 Carbon Steel or Lead Screws manufactured from C45 Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel Lead Screw Nuts are recommended to prevent the galling which can result from using Lead Screws and Nuts manufactured from identical materials.
