Pozi Pan Head Plastite 45 Screws (also called Plastite 45's) are designed for use with pre-drilled pilot holes in plastic. These components feature a specialised thread forming trilobular thread, which is designed to tap its own thread into a plastic housing. A Plastite 45 Screw has a thread angle of 45 degrees, making it suitable for use in medium-density plastics. For a sharper thread for softer plastics, a Plastite 30 variant may be more suitable.

The Pozi drive of this fastener is suitable for use with Accu's range of Pozi Drive Bits and Pozi Screwdrivers.
