What are Torx Flanged Button Screws?

Accu’s Torx Flanged Button Screws, also known as Star Flanged Button Screws, are fasteners which feature an aesthetically pleasing rounded head. The use of a Torx drive increases the surface area between driver and inner faces of the hexalobular drive and avoids cam-out. The addition of a flange negates the need for an additional washer and evenly distributes the load applied by the threaded fastener in order to prevent localised stress.

The Torx drive of these fasteners makes them suitable for use with Accu's selection of Torx Drive Bits which are supplied in drive sizes from T6 to T55. 

Torx Button Machine Screw Variants.

Accu also stock a range of Torx Button Screws without a flanged head which feature a smaller head diameter and can be used with our range of Flat Washers. These variants can be bought separately or in bulk in Accu’s pre-packed fastener kits.

Torx Flanged Button Screw Materials.

The Star Flanged Button Screws are manufactured in two different stainless steels; A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. In addition to the natural finish, these screws are also available in Matte Black or with Thread Locking.  

Metric Sizes Available .

The range of Metric Torx Flanged Button Screws are available in thread sizes M2 up to M12, and lengths ranging from 3mm to 120mm. This range is manufactured according to ISO 7380-2 standard.
